Finally, Lice treatment arrives in Toledo!
TOLEDO, Ohio (January, 2014) On Saturday, January 18, from noon until 4:00PM, Rapunzel’s Lice Boutique will be celebrating the opening of their first Ohio salon at 2525 N. Reynolds Road, by offering free head checks to the public.
Rapunzel’s presently has three Michigan locations, and owner Sarah Casello-Rees explains that the distance has long been a problem for her Ohio clients.
“We’ve had desperate parents driving to Ohio from Michigan for 5 years now to receive our one-time non-toxic head lice treatment. They’ve been thrilled with the service, but not so thrilled with the drive. They have literally begged me to open a shop in Ohio,” Sarah says.
And finally, the begging has paid off. Rapunzel’s is here. Sarah welcomes any media to attend the grand opening, and also hopes to share the important news about the upcoming head-checks.
“After the holidays, it’s a very important time to check children’s heads for lice. After the school break and all of the parties, the sleepovers and the traveling, it’s vital to make sure children are free from lice. We’re excited to offer this to the public at this time,” Sarah says.
Rapunzel’s treats their clients with the FDA-Cleared AirAllé—a medical device developed by biologists at the University of Utah. It dehydrates and kills head lice and their eggs in one treatment, using only heated air.
